May 15th-17th: Everyone Needs a Hero

 

We appreciate all of those who put their lives’ on the line for us to enjoy this beautiful country, but we especially want to recognize you this weekend. We also want to recognize those who help us grow in education. All military personnel, paramedics, teachers, doctors, and nurses will be able to camp free this weekend, with proper ID. Bingo and Bags are back this weekend, along with wagon rides throughout the park. Campsites are still $25.00 per night!

May 22nd-25th: Memorial Day Celebration                                                                                                                                      

The water is blue, the wood is cut, and River Bend is ready to get this season going! All of our amenities will be open for all ages to enjoy. Come to the store to check out all of our sweet treats, and new clothing items. Saturday morning we will have our first ever Donut Making Shop! Come to the Pavilion Sunday morning to enjoy the pancake breakfast, put on by the Fundraisers of River Bend. Once your bellies are full, walk on over to the craft fair and see what interests you. It is our pleasure to welcome back, Bad Habitz, Sunday evening at the pavilion!

May 29th-31st: D.A.R.E. Weekend            

The Watertown Police Department will be out at River Bend this weekend to talk with us about Drug Abuse Resistance Education. There will be all types of crafts for the kids, and some practice on what to do if you find yourself in a situation you don’t want to be in. We hope you find this weekend useful to help everyone be safe!

June 5th-7th: Party in the U.S.A. Texas Style

We are fixin’ to have an exciting kick off to the summer. Children can try and lasso a horse down at the Activity Center and do all sorts of Texas crafts for the weekend. On Saturday afternoon come and see if you have what it takes to master the Mechanical Bull. Children under 18 will need to be accompanied by an adult. Saturday evening come on up to Benderz for a cold pop and enjoy some good ole fashioned BBQ.

June 12th-14th: Murder Mystery Weekend

Her arm was found by the jumping pillow, but her toes were in the sand at the beach. No one saw her leave, but the neighbors heard screaming all night. Do you know what happened to Mrs. Smith? Come camping this weekend to help solve our murder mystery case. There will be different cases for different ages.

June 19th-21st: Fear Factor Weekend

Do you have what it takes to eat a worm? How about to go on an eyeball hunt? We will be putting you to the test this weekend with what you can withstand. From baby food contests to unusual food testing for the adults, you won’t want to miss this weekend. Come on down to the pavilion and check out our 7th annual car show. We want to give a warm River Bend welcome to Catch a Wave Saturday night at the Pavilion. Make sure to come check out this 60’s and 70’s band. Father’s make sure to stop by the store on Saturday and Sunday to receive your free cup of coffee!

June 26th-28th: Slime Fest Weekend

Welcome to River Bend’s first ooey, gooey, weekend. Watch for the time slots and where to go to make your own slime on Saturday! Arts and crafts will be plentiful all weekend, along with all types of slip n slide games. Saturday night Bella Cain will be back to put on another outstanding performance at the pavilion! 

July 3rd-6th: 4th of July Weekend

God has blessed our country and our campground, and we want to show our appreciation this weekend. From the annual 4th of July parade, to the fireworks; red, white, and blue will be all around you. Don’t forget to head down the pavilion Sunday morning for the Pancake Breakfast and the Craft Fair!

July 10th-12th: Viva Las Vegas

Vegas on Wheels is back and we hope you are ready to gamble your night away. Come down to the activity center with your children and play Vegas related games. Head to the pool deck on Saturday to participate in a belly flop contest. Saturday night come to the Pavilion and show us your skills in all sorts of Vegas games!

July 17th-19th: Magic Weekend

You are getting very sleepy …… on the count of 3, you will squak like a chicken; 1.. …. 2 ……. 3 …….. ! Friday night stop up at Benderz to enjoy our famous Fish Fry. The hypnotist is back this weekend for all of those adults who want to entertain all of your fellow friends. There will be a magic show for the children on Saturday as well. Stop down at the activity center all weekend to learn some of your own magic tricks. 

July 24th-26th: Life’s a Beach

The annual cardboard races are back this weekend. Come show your building skills in a chance to win a prize, and float across the swim pond in your very own cardboard boat! Participate in a sand castle contest, show everyone how low you can go in the limbo, and dance away with the DJ on the beach. Saturday evening we want to welcome, Bree Morgan Reloaded, to River Bend! Stop down at the pavilion to listen to the Midwest Cover Band and enjoy the night.

July 31st-August 2nd: Easter in August

Here comes Peter Cottontail, hoping down the golf cart trail! Join us for our first Easter in August! There will be all types of events held for all ages. There will be an Easter egg coloring contest for all ages on Saturday. Along with an Easter egg hunt for children and adults on Saturday.

August 7th-August 9th: Down on the Farm

Old MacDonald had a farm….. Eeeee-I-Eeeee-I-Ooooo. Friday night head up to Benderz and enjoy an acoustic performance by the country singer, Bree Morgan! Haven’s Petting Farm will be out at River Bend this weekend with all types of farm animals to hang out with. Not only will you be able to participate in his petting zoo, there will also be horse rides to all who are interested. Saturday evening come down to the Pavilion to welcome back Steve Meisner and enjoy his polka performance.

August 14th-16th: Chocolate Palooza Weekend

Do you need your sweet tooth fix? Look no further, we have what you need this weekend! From chocolate pudding wrestling, to the chocolate dunk tank it will be a weekend to remember. Partake in our donut making shop and you won’t be leaving hungry! This weekend we will be having our annual fundraiser for the American Family Children’s Hospital. Grab a team together for our corn hole tournament and donate to a wonderful cause. Come to the Pavilion Saturday night to welcome our National Act: Love and Theft, and their opener, Allie Colleen (Garth Brooks’ daughter). We hope to see you there.

August 21st-23rd: Prom Weekend

Did you miss your high school Prom? Or do you wish that you could relive it? Now is your chance! Grab your prom dress and tux and walk the runway to dance the night away. Friday night head down to the Tiki Bar at 7:00pm and listen to a performance from RC3! There will be a family Prom dress up contest on Saturday. Then get your hair done, and shoes shined to get your boogey on Saturday night at the Pavilion while enjoying all sorts of different music! Stop up at Benderz when the concert is done for the after prom party.

August 28th-30th: Back to School Bash

It’s that time of the year again: the parents are grinning ear to ear, and the children start to kiss their summer goodbye. This weekend we want to focus on helping others, as the new school year can be a struggle for some. Friday and Saturday we are asking you to bring in some school supplies (backpacks, crayons, markers, pencils, gym shoes, etc…) and help fill the back packs on Saturday afternoon at the Activity Center. Saturday evening we will have a representative come from the Watertown School District to accept the supplies on behalf of the families in need. Make sure to stop at the Pavilion on Saturday night to welcome back, Road Crew!

September 4th-7th: Labor Day Weekend Celebration

Another season has come to an end, but that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy one last weekend! Lay out by the beach or the pool and bask in the sun and each other’s’ company. Make sure to make your way over to the Pavilion on Saturday afternoon for our Mystery Auction! Enjoy the Fundraiser’s Pancake Breakfast on Sunday morning and walk around the Craft Fair.

September 11th-13th: After Season Celebration

There is still a lot of fun to be had even though the pool is closed. You can still enjoy Bingo, Horseshoes, and Bags all weekend long. Stop down at the Store to check out all of their after­season specials, and do some art and crafts at the Activity Center. Saturday night come down to the pavilion and enjoy our annual parking lot bonfire!

September 18th-20th: 3rd Annual Water Cross Races

Have you ever seen anyone ride their snowmobile across the water without sinking? This is the place to watch it. Beginning at noon there will be all different ages of people racing across the Crawfish River on their sled to show us their talent. The Fundraiser’s of River Bend want to thank all of those who have volunteered throughout the Summer of 2020 with a lunch at
12:00pm, Saturday, at the Front Office. We can’t wait to see you!

September 25th-27th: Halloween Havoc I

The goblins and gremlins are making their appearance this weekend at River Bend, and they want to see you there! Grab your costumes, Halloween bucket, and candy and see if you have what it takes to go through Milford’s scariest Haunted House Friday and Saturday night. Adults 21 and up may participate in our Halloween Costume Contest on Saturday evening at Benderz.

October 2nd-4th: Halloween Havoc II

They’re back!!!!! Another scary weekend is underway with our Haunted House up and running to listen to you scream all of Friday and Saturday night. Make sure to show off your favorite costume at the kid’s costume contest Saturday afternoon at the Activity Center. Benderz is ready for another Adult Costume Contest Saturday night, see if you have the best outfit to win a prize.

We will have many other events planned such as; bingo sessions, tournaments, arts & crafts, karaoke, hourly scheduled activities and more. We are also waiting on a few additional confirmations for a couple of events this summer as well. As these confirmations are gathered, we will update this section of the website.
